What does it typically cost to visit a board game café?
Costs vary: some venues charge a cover or hourly fee, others allow play with a purchase of food or drink, and some are free to use if you buy something. Always confirm pricing and whether any seating or table fees apply on the business’s listing or by calling ahead.
What should I check before booking a private event or large group?
Verify maximum capacity, reservation and cancellation policies, any minimum spends, and whether the venue provides extra tables or staff support. Ask about game availability, food and beverage options, and rules for bringing outside games to avoid surprises on the day.
