Frequently asked questions
How should I choose a pool builder in San Jose?
Start by checking verified customer reviews and examples of completed work, and confirm the company is licensed and insured. Compare multiple estimates, ask about timelines and warranties, and look for clear communication about permits and local code compliance.
What does a typical pool build or major renovation cost?
Costs vary widely depending on size, materials, features, site conditions, and local permitting. Ask providers for itemized estimates and expect a range rather than a single fixed price; a detailed written contract helps avoid surprises.
What should I check before hiring a pool contractor?
Verify the contractor’s license and insurance, request references or recent project photos, and confirm who handles permits and inspections. Also clarify project milestones, payment schedule, and any warranty or maintenance provisions in writing.
